Coming soon... a new edition of Mother Love!
The “Mother Love” prayer book and manual has been an essential part of the spirituality of the Christian Mothers for almost 150 years. Now a new edition, lovingly compiled from the texts of 6 editions dating back to 1880, is available to edify and inspire today’s Christian Mothers.
Memo: A Christian Mother’s Daily Prayer for the Children
This memo introduces a new official Daily Prayer for the Children to be adopted by Confraternities chartered with the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers. It notes modifications in previous versions and provides the new prayer, which will be published in the upcoming edition of Mother Love. The prayer invokes various saints and encourages Christian Mothers to use this version, while also allowing them to add their own patrons to the litany of saints.
Octave of All Soul's Day Requiem Mass
As part of our commitment as Christian Mothers, we gather during the Octave of All Souls' Day to offer Mass for the deceased members of the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers. Please wear your Sorrowful Mother medal and join in your local Confraternity's Requiem Mass for this intention. Those who are unable to attend should unite in prayer at another Mass during the Octave for this intention.

September 15: Plenary Indulgence for Enrolled Members
A plenary indulgence is available on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows (September 15) for the enrolled members of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers To gain this, one must fulfill the usual conditions and make or renew, at least privately, her promise faithfully to observe the rules of the association.

Memo: Indulgences and Advantages of Joining the Confraternity of Christian Mothers
Fr. Joseph Tuscan clarifies that membership in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers includes women who are not married or who have no children. He also shares the advantages of joining the Confraternity, the special indulgences for members of the Confraternity, and abolishes the status of "associate members" in the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers.

Recap: 1st Annual National Conference
Fr. Joseph Tuscan, National Director of the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers, led the National Conference on July 21-22, 2023. This was a monumental meeting because a National Conference has never been organized in the history of our Archconfraternity.
Fr. Tuscan Visits Christian Mothers at St. Leo Oratory
On Saturday, March 11, 2023, we were honored to host Father Joseph Tuscan for our monthly Christian Mother's meeting and a potluck brunch after Mass. Father shared updates on the Archconfraternity nationally and internationally. We are grateful for his help in establishing our Confraternity, which was affiliated with the Archconfraternity on August 22, 2022, Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Fr. Tuscan is joined by Canon David Silvey, Father Director of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of St. Leo Oratory.
